When you're fresh out of excess McDonalds condiment pouches, a contact lens case is a perfect alternative when you bring your lunch to work.
All you have to do is fill one or both sides of the case with the condiments of your choice, seal it well, and toss it in your lunch bag. This is particularly great for sandwiches, because lets you spread your mustard at lunch so the bread doesn't get soggy throughout the morning. This trick is totally obvious in hindsight, but for some reason it never occurred to me.
